We here at ICE like to think or ourselves as professional team match-makers. We try to assemble an appropriate mix of people, give them lots of opportunities to mix and mingle and let the magic of business attraction do its wonders. We now bring this Team Building opportunity to online!

Utilizing YouNoodle for ICE 2009

The Ignite Clean Energy Competition will be using the platform of YouNoodle for team building and competitor submissions for ICE 2009.

Click Here to join the ICE YouNoodle group and create a profile.
Follow directions below to set up profile and for team building postings.

Step 1: Join Ignite Clean Energy Group on YouNoodle and create a profile

You should have received an invitation from YouNoodle to create a profile. If you have not received it, please check your spam folder. Click on the link provided and follow directions to create a profile. Make sure that you upload your resume so that potentials team mates and others can learn about you.
The directions below are the same that have been included on that invitation.

Once you have created your profile those interested in Team Building please follow these directions:

Step 2: Add your Startup, Idea or what you could bring to a team
For those who have an idea to compete with:
• Below your profile picture are green tabs
Select Add a Startup
• Fill out form based upon your idea and select Create Startup
• Your Startup has now been created
• On your admin page now feel free to add more information about your Startup
under Update your ‘About Us’ section
• Save Changes

For those who are looking for a team:
• Below your profile picture are green tabs
Select Add a Startup
• even though you do not have an idea to compete with fill out form based upon
what you would bring to a team.
o Startup name- enter your name
o Public one liner- (limited space) you can enter your strengths, expertise, what
you would bring to a team, what type of team you are looking for etc. and select
Create Startup
• Your Startup has now been created
• On your admin page now feel free to add more information about your Startup
under Update your ‘About Us’ section- add details your strengths, expertise,
what you would bring to a team, what type of team you are looking for etc.
• Save Changes

Step 3: Post your Needs
For Team Building
In order to connect people who have ideas and those who are looking for a team we will use the section called Needs
o On your startup profile please click the Startup button at the top left corner of the page. (This is your startup home page)
o Scroll down to “Post a Need”
o Enter in what your team is looking for or what you are looking for in a team and select Post

Examples: Seeking Marketing specialist
Looking for person with strong presentation skills.
I am strong in finance and would like a team dealing with Solar
Engineering background looking for team in Green Building area

All your ‘Needs’ will be automatically listed on the ICE 09 group page.

Step 4: Browse for Needs and Team Members

To see your needs as well as others go to the ICE 09 Group page

All needs posted by fellow ICE potential competitors will be listed and you have the ability to contact them via the button: Send Message

Applications to compete in ICE will be posted and open at the correct deadline times:
Student Teams: March 2-16
Professional Teams: May 26-June 5
